1860 Henry Rifle in 44-40 FS Price lowered

I have a New in box A. Uberti 1860 Henry rifle in 44-40 for sale. The brass receiver is beautiful and the bore is bright and shinny. It has sling swivels and all the military markings already on the gun.
All the blueing is in perfect shape. I can send additional pictures on request, just e-mail me. I am selling it at the bargain price of only $1250. + Shipping. FFL required. For live shooting the 44-40 cartridge is one of the best for accuracy.
If you want to use it for reenacting here is the link to a web page where you can read my article about how I use mine for reenacting and how to make economical blanks for it.

I will also make the conversion for blanks for free you if you want it for blanks.

Terry - I certainly hope I'm not stepping on your toes here, or anyone elses toes here, but I'm not sure I agree with the metaphor you used here, i.e., can one really "hijack" a thread. The idea of "hijacking" something as insignificant as a "thread" doesn't really seem right; when I think of hijacking I think in terms of commercial airliners or eighteen wheel trucks. When someone steals thread it is usually via the shoplifting mode, and the thread is usually in the form of a spool. I guess I'd be more comfortable if you said Mark "shoplifted" your thread.
Then there is the issue of mixed metaphors. We've got a series of written statements on a computer server that most everyone refers to as "a thread, " a commonly used metaphor. Then you have another metaphor - "hijacking" - used in lieu of the more accurate phrase "addition to my comment." I think this is what people call a "mixed metaphor." Then you have my metaphor up there at the start of this dialog about "stepping on toes" which makes this whole thing like a tripple mixed metaphor. I'm thinking someone from India wouldn't understand these posts at all.

Eggs.....today is Tuesday not Wednesday. You were suppose to take two pink pills and only one yellow one. We've talked about this before???

As a side note "hijacking" a thread doesn't apply here. When you said "*I am selling it at the bargain price of only $1350. +......." you were corrected that it is not a "bargain" price as there are several places with them listed new for a lower price. Had you of left the word "bargain" out of your statement you would have been fine and I'm pretty sure no one would have posted in your thread Terry. If we make misleading statements someone is surely going to correct us.

My price is a bargain compared to the list price. It’s not my fault that Dixie is having a sale that I cannot compete with.
If anyone is interested in a Henry in 44-40 and doesn't want the sling swivels and military markings that my gun comes with, I would suggest that they check with Dixie as they seam to have the best price.
