    Repro Ramshorn Maynard

Came across one of these. Is it an NSSA approved gun? What's an average price on it? Any help greatly appreciated.

With Nationals starting today, I'm not sure how much response you'll get to this one, but I'll give it a shot. I think they were selling new on Sutlers' Row a year or two ago for either $795 or $895, but I don't know whether that was a "retail" price or clearance sale or what(?) As for being approved, I've never looked it up (which you can do on the list somewhere on this site) but I have seen them on the line, so somebody thinks they are approved! If you want a definitive answer, John Holland will surely be available @ Ft Shenandoah this week, or could probably be reached via e-mail or PM next week or later.

The Gunsmith in Ohio that was producing them passed away a little over a year ago.

In other words, no more will be produced.
