    Whitacre Enfield Bullet Choice

Just bought a Whitacre 2-Band Enfield barrel for my Euroarms Enfield. Would anyone please suggest a bullet choice. I have the Lee Trashcan mold and a Lee Traditional Minie. Dan recommends 575213OS or International or New Style, as well as the Rapine. Anyone have any experience with the N-S bullet or the Hodgden(sp?)?

  2. My Parker-Hale two bander has one of Dan's barrels, and it love's the RCBS Hodgen bullet. I cast out the .580 bullet and size it to .577. I use 46 grains of 2F. Benching they all touch each other in about a half inch group. Offhand I can hold about a one inch group. They shoot great!

Is your bore .577 or .580?

  4. I have a .577 bore, and I am using the larger base plug in the bullet mould.
