Two 1851 Cadet Muskets for sale by Bob Hoyt

I stopped by Bob Hoyt's shop the other day and he asked me to post the two 1851 Cadet muskets that he built. One is rifled with the appropriate long range sights and the other is a smoothbore. He said he was asking $1725.00 for the rifled and sighted one and $1600.00 for the smoothbore. If you are interested call him at his shop at 717 642 6696. If he doesn't answer leave a message and he'll get back to you.

    Hello Jim,
Just curious, I did a mapquest and drove to Bobby's 700 Fairfield address only to find a mailbox. I tried calling without getting ahold of him so my trip to drop off a rifle was all for nought. I think i may have located his home and shops across the way from the mailbox(across the rail bed) but it did not appear anyone was home. I even asked the fellas at the Union Drummer Boy back in Gettysburg if they knew of his physical business address, but they were not able to help. Should I use his listed business address received on the forums, and who is the best shipper to ensure that he receives my rifle? Thanks for your help in advance, Robert McBride

    Bob Hoyt

I mailed my barrel to Mr Hoyt at his Fairfield address and got it back sooner than expected- nice job and reasonable. Use the Fairfield address (google Hoyt relining), call and ship.

No sweat. He's back off of North Miller/Fairfield Station Rd and if you cross the track, go around the house and the shop is in the lower level of the barn. Best to call before making the trip though.
