Size: 93.0 KB I would like to sell this Belgian smooth bore musket. The stock is in good condition with no splits or missing wood but with minor dents particularly in front of the lock plate which appears to be from prying with a screwdriver. The nipple has been replaced and the front sling swivel has been soldered. The barrel is the correct 40 1/2 inches with the bayonet stud and original ramrod. The muzzle is thin from much use, probably from post war small game hunting in the hills of Kentucky. My father bought the gun many years ago at a local watering hole from a fellow who claimed it had a history in the Confederate army. This is probably untrue but I don't think some time spent guarding a whiskey still would be out of the realm of possibility. I have the gun priced at $600 plus shipping if anyone is interested. I can be reached best by email at eco_fiber@yahoo.com. Thanks, TF
