Original Colt 1861/1862 Special Contract Musket for Sale

I have a very nice Colt rifled musket with vg outside, and shiny sharp bore no significant muzzle wear

RIfle was bought from Turner Kirkland in 1958 by a guy I grew up with. He went skirmishing once with it.
Then I acquired it in late '60s. I think I shot it a couple of times "way back when"- shot one squirrel with it.
It has been carefully preserved with RIG gun grease in and out, unfired, as a "safe queen" for the last 30some years
Decided it should have a new home.
