Mine broke at the vee. Ordered a replacement from S&S. Is this common enough that I should have ordered two?

If you shoot it a lot it doesn't hurt to keep and extra set of lock parts on hand. Most NSSA skirmishers keep extra main and sear springs long with a tumbler and sear tuned and fitted to their lock in there shooting box. I myself in over twenty five years of skirmishing have never broken a sear spring. But I still have spare on hand.

Never had them break, but I have had a spring wear out already, or a tumbler, so that it wouldn't hold cock. Good stuff to have, as said.
