    Erma Galager Change

I have one and am thinking about having it changed to 50ca. by B.H. Can any one tell me the positive and negitive of this change and what kind of shooter to expect. :?

  2. Wait until everyone gets back from Nationals. Most folks that can answer the question are there or headed there. The 2 I know about were mixed results. One moderately happy, the other swore it was lousy. But that fellow had health issues that may have caused him to not use it properly or work up a decent load.

I have one that Bobby relined to .50 cal. I really like it, have had great luck with it, and shoots much better than when in .54 cal. I use the Smith bullet with 40 gr. fff. I hear now that he can redo the chamber end to use the plastic Smith case, that would be very nice, as mine still uses the brass Gallagher case.
