    I shoot in my back yard haven't seen many LEO there

    Btw this thread seems to imply they are legal?

    Well, I just went and re-read section 17 of the rules, and I don't see anything that would prohibit combustible paper cartridges for revolvers, unless revolvers are considered "muzzleloaders" in which case 17.5.c applies:

    The use of combustible cartridges in muzzleloading arms is prohibited.



    But per the definitions in section 14.3, I think revolvers are distinctly different from muzzleloaders.

    Just a thought, why not put in the powder, top off with a little grits, then a round ball and lube? It has always worked for me.

    I think some people enjoy using the firearms as close to how they were actually used in period as possible.

    That's it for me I want to replicate how they were used 150 years ago
    i also like to shoot them more modern style
