Dimensions of 50 yard musket target?

    Hi,

I am drawing up some targets in my CAD software for practice.

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the 50 yard musket target?

    Thanks,

    Steve

    50 Yard Musket-Carbine Target Dimensions

    Steve,

The X ring has a 1" diameter, 10 ring has a 2" diameter and all the other scoring rings are 1" wide. This gives the 9 ring (the black bullseye) a 4" diameter.

I believe that the 50 yd bull is the same as a clay pigeon, which is slightly less than 5" This caused trouble several years ago when a company that had not sold targets to the N-SSA delivered a batch that had 5" bulls. They had to be returned for replacement because they would give a slight advantage to those shooters using the larger bulls. Don't remember the year.
