    i dont have the name handy but just do a search for dental sponges. quite a bit of info will come up. they are 55.95 for 5 thou. they dont seem to string or come apart like regular patches. they are cotton and have little holes that im sure are designed to absorb better. if you have a loose fiting jag you can leave them folded. it its a tight jag then you can open them up to a 2x4 or a 4x4 doc rucker came up with these. if you have a bad day shooting and need to wipe away a tear or two you can use them for that as well. they are of the best quality and make a great cleaning patch.

    Gauze sponges8 ply2" X 2" (5.1 cm X 5.1 cm)All hospitals and clinics use them. Different brands, covidien, Curtity etc.Regards

    These patches work excellent as cleaning patches. Try this website for kendall Versalon, non-sterile all purpose sponges
    4 ply 2X2 PN # 9022. Sleeve of 200 is about $2.22 each plus shipping.

    I got my 1000 gauze sheets really quick, seemed like 2 days after ordering. They work great. I find they shed a little if you catch a burr on metal but other than that they work really nice and you can't beat them for the price. Thanks for the tip!
