This early Parker Hale Birmingham #2966 has been brought back from the dead. It has a new linseed oil finish (not sanded). All the metal has been rust blued. The case color is a bit faded but still good. The riflingwas recut by Hoyt and Bobby put a fresh crown on the barrel. It is glass bedded. The lock is crisp but it does need a trigger job. There is a repair to the hammer that is visible in the pictures. There is some pitting at the bolster and some light pitting in the bore. I gave it to Bobby last Nationals to recut with the instructions don't mess with it unless it will shoot when it’s done. It has been test fired and groups
