    WTS Maynard 2nd Model

I'm downsizing and am selling a second model 50 Cal Civil war Maynard Carbine. It was unissued and has about 30% Case Color, almost 100% bluing, Excellent bore with a couple of minor pitted spots, good cartouches but it does have a crack in the butt stock that needs a little work. This comes with 10 new cases. I know I'm new on this site but you can check my feed back Gunbrokers and Gunboards under the same user name. Here are a few pictures but let me know if you would like others. $1500.00 + $40.00 S&H to the lower 48. Thanks, Steve

Do you know how many rounds have been fired through it? Looks great. Tough to see the crack, how much work do you think it would need to be repaired?

Hi Mike, I do not know how many rounds were fired through the gun. The bore is for the most part looks new but I doubt it was fired very little but as I mentioned there are some spots of frosting in the bore. I suspect it was fired a couple of time but not cleaned properly. As for the crack in the stock in my opinion, it is shootable as is but should be fixed by a professional. I'm not a wood guy so I'm not sure what it would take. Here are a few more pictures of the stock, bore and gun.

I had a number of people who have shown interest in the Maynard and I will contact everyone this afternoon in the order that I received their interest. Thank you, Steve.

P.S. I'm on the west coast so those in the east it will be late in the afternoon. Sorry for the delay but it is my wifes birthday weekend so we're doing wife things. Thank you for your understanding, Steve
