    Spur Cutter

Would anyone have the contact info on the gentleman who was selling the spur cutters for round ball. You would place them in a drill to remove said spur from your freshly cast round ball. Thanks in advance. Kevin

I have one of those Joe Tanner brass moulds where I had to cut the sprue off each and every cast ball with a pair of nippers. THAT GOT OLD VERY QUICKLY.

I threw the mould on the mill and milled down the top of it and then installed a spare Lyman Sprue Plate I had lying around the shop. Now the lead balls the mould casts, come out of the mould with NO SPRUE to deal with. It makes casting much faster and the balls are much more uniform.
