A rare Maynard Patt. 1845 'tape primer' lock for sale.
These locks were produced for a contract of British G reene Carbines, in 1856, for the Crimean war.
Only 2000 of such carbines were made.
Never shot. Condition couldn't be better. Untouched case hardening finish.
