15-20 Grains sounds great. I have some 2F Swiss and will also try 20 and 25 grs of 2F. What kind of accuracy were you able to obtain??

I tried 2f years back and found that 3f performed better.

3F will work better. A good gun, with the right load, will shoot about 1.5 inches at 25 yards, sometimes better. They are remarkably accurate.

16 g of swiss 3F and a 32swl brass of cream of wheat with a tallowed .457 RB give excellent accuracy

If you want to shoot well at 50 yards, you need to push it a bit faster. 25 grs. Swiss FFFg, two Wonder Wads, .457 round ball., no grease, no filler. That is essentially an original service charge. Almost anything will shoot well at 25 yards. But, good scores at 50 yards are the secret to a good aggregate.
