My latest musket was plug-gauged at .577 What size mould should I use? I'm presuming I should size to .575 (0.002" less than bore) but I can not recall if the moulds cast larger or smaller than the needed size.

I'm shooting a .577 whitacre barrel on my Zouave and I am casting minie that come out of the mould at .578 and am sizing my minies at .576.

Agreed 0.001 to 0.0005 under bore size, with proper lube
