    Need 1842 front band spring

    I need a front band spring for an 1842 springfield. I would like to have an original if possible.if you have one give me a call at 540-550-1511 or by pm.

    Did you check with S&S and/or Lodgewood? John Zimmerman may have one as well.

    Must be a bad week for front band springs: My died recently too.

    Originals are ~$40. S&S had repros for $10, but you'll have to do some filing to match the fit.
