Hello N-SSA,
I am posting this For Sale ad for a member of the Spencer Shooting Society (SSS). If interested please contact Mt. Marfield at the Spencer Shooting Society Forum at CasCity.Com.
Greetings!
I have a beautiful L. Romano 1860 Spencer Carbine for your consideration!
I've "function-fired" this carbine twice, cleaned it, and put it away as too pretty to shoot.
As you can see, the Case Colors are vivid, the blue and wood are unmolested. The Bore shines
like new! I haven't touched anything, except to keep it well oiled.
I returned it to Larry once to have the hammer repaired; after my last shooting session, I
discovered that the hammer nose had peened slightly. He repaired the hammer and he fixed
the problem. On the right hand side of the receiver, there is a faint "V shaped" stain where,
I believe, my BP Cleaner contacted the protective coating over the Case Colors; it's very difficult
to see on the photo, but it's there. Otherwise, this Carbine is beautiful!
I'm asking $4500.00 for this L. Romano 1860 Spencer Carbine. If you or your reenactor buddy
want The BEST for competition or admiration, here it is!
Four more photos in next post!
