Richmond carbine in .58 caliber. Built by Steve Doyle using an original model 1855 rifle or rifled-musket. The stock and barrel are original as are the barrel bands. I bought this from a Confederate N-SSA member from Milwaukee. I have never fired this, but recall I was told it liked a full .580 bullet. Excellent condition, was actually made as many original Richmond carbines were made, from battlefield salvage.
