Confederate arsenals manufactured a .71 Caliber cartridge for the Belgian Rifle. The Mini Ball weighed 738 Grains and was propelled by a charge of 80 Grains of powder. They also manufactured a .75 Round Ball cartridge for Brown Bess muskets. The ball weighed 480 Grains and was propelled by a charge of 110 Grains of powder.
This is from Part Four of From Roundball to Rimfire, A History of the Confederate Ordnance Department by Dean S. Thomas, Page 171.
There were also cartridges in .50 calibre for converted civilian rifles and a run of North Carolina military rifles in that calibre and shotgun rounds, some with a very short hollow-base slug, for the many shotguns carried off to war.
