What Is The Nationals Musket Team Pigeon Board Record Time?

    1. What was the name of the team that shot the all time record?

    2. At which Nationals did it occur? When?

    THANKS!

I don't know if it is the all time record, but in 1988 the Washington Blues shot the pigeon board in 95.6 seconds and finished the skirmish in under 300 seconds. Steve Light might chime in here. He knows the numbers.

OK, this is from Mike Kendra's Skirmish Notes internet blog: The Washington Blues shot the pigeon board in 89.7 seconds at the 81st National in May of 1990. They are the only team to break the 300 second mark with a 298.2 at the previously mentioned Nat'l in 1988. It is going to take some fine shooting to ever break the records set by the Wash Blues.

Looking at the pictures of the 8th VA who just won, there are some young guys on there who've tasted the thrill of victory and I think we'll see more of them in the winners circle in the future. The old silverback teams like us will just have to watch and do the best we can.

    Yep - That is Impressive

    A 300 Second Skirmish- WOW!!!

I have shot on teams that ran 300 seconds on the FIRST Event alone!
