C.S.Macon - Type 3 smooth bore for sale. This musket is all original except for a very good repro ram rod and nipple. The type 3 is 36" and has a Romano reline in the barrel. The bore of this musket is spectacular and has Larry's special polished process he uses on his smooth bore barrels. The lock is a Springfield dated 1844. The stock is one piece and all the hardware is original to the musket. Butt plate, trigger guard, bands, springs, and screws all came from the same musket. The musket is $1200, comes with an Individual Arm Approval card and I will be bringing it to the Nat'ls. I will be glad to send pictures to anyone interested.
