    plastic caps for the rifled .69 1842 springfield

    im lookin for a place that sells the plastic caps you put the powder and the mini ball in for my 1842 armi sport rifled musket. i seen that ss firearms have them for the .58 cal and does not carry .69 caliber. does anyone know a good place to pick those up at either online or maybe at like home depot or lowes. thanks

    Here is a direct link to a previous post a few months ago about a gentleman named Glenn Kaye that was selling tubes for .69 Cal. smoothbore & rifles. Hopefully he can help you with what you need.

    Google Caplugs, and pick the appropriate size. They make the caps that the sutlers sell at the Fort.

    I'm the guy that sells the blue, flat-bottomed caps you are seeking. It took me a long time of searching, and checking samples from ten different manufacturers before I finally found the perfect size for our purposes. I sell them for $10 per hundred.

    I'll endorse Glenn Kaye's nice blue plastic tubes. Made shooting my .69 smoothie much more convenient. Now all I have to do is resist the nice original rifled .69 sitting in a nearby gunship. Much $$$

    Now, just point me in the direction of that gunshop with the nice rifled .69! I've been looking for one.
