    Straps on the back of a vest?

    So I bought a vest from S&S firearms, and it has two straps across the back for cinching the vest to size. Should there be a buckle or something to fasten the straps together? Do they tie? How does it work?

    Most I have seen including some originals had a buckle adjustment and one had button with several button holes to choose from.
