Skeet range by the entrance road?

    All,

I've heard there is a trap/skeet range on Route 600 by the entrance to the Fort. Can anyone give me more information about this range? Is it public or private? Anyone have a contact number?

My brother is interested in joining a trap/skeet club. I told him that the only way to break clays is with a muzzleloader, but he's in love with one of those black plastic pump-action things.

    Thanks,

    Mike

It is the Winchester Frederick county Conservation club. You can be a member if you live in either of the two places. 100 bucks to join, 80 bucks a year from that time on. You can join by paying up at shenandoah arms, on valley ave. in Winchester. They also have a pistol range, and 80 and 100 yard rifle benches.

Thanks, all. I have passed the info on to my brother. He's a Frederick Co. resident, and a frequent visitor to Shenandoah Arms, so he'll know what to do.

    Thanks again,

    Mike
