    Breach Loader Bullet Sizing

Is there a rule of thumb for sizing bullets for breach loaders? Unlike the muzzel loaders which you undersize the bullet relative to the bore at the lands, breach loader bullets are over sized for the bore to fit the groves but how much over size is needed. Do you size for the exact bore diameter at the groves or more or less?

  2. A general rule of thumb for bullet size for a breech loader would be approx. .002 to .003 larger than bore diameter
