Help with Bullet Mold Numbers?

I've got an brass single cavity mold. I think its an old Smith mold I bought from a young Bill Osborne back when he was operating out of the back of his car on a single table without a tent. It's got some markings on the side I can't decipher:

1.83
2

Maybe MGO means Mike G. Oswiak? No guesses on the numbers.
