    smoothbore front sights

I was wondering what was going on with the front sight issues on the 1842 smoothbore sights. Can you make them strait? I have one thats off. Can I put it in the Proper spot,(centered) or do I have to leave it uncorrect wich is offcenter but manufactured that way. Just want to shoot without worries from inspection, Thanks for your help, I know you have a tough job keeping everyone happy. THANKS!

    Ken,

This same subject came up last month (Dec.) in this forum titled "Replace Front Sight".

Here is the link that will take you directly to it.

Hope this helps to answer your question somewhat.
