Arm "SOLD"
This is a "new", custom made competition grade "iron mounted" M-1855 "Rifle".
This rifle has a fully functional Maynard tape prime lock, marked Harpers Ferry with "NO!" date to the rear of the hammer. Contains many original parts, butt plate and screws, trigger guard assembly with screws, tang screw and side lock washers. Along with internal lock screws and parts. (Some of these original parts may have miner pitting and rust stains) Basic overall finished is "Armory Bright" with all the small parts blued as per the original firearms.
This has a Whitacre made barrel with .577 minimum bore dia. Rear sight is of the short base, three leaf 1858 type, tall front sight and sword bayonet lug. American Black Walnut stock. $1,850.00 plus shipping and full insurance. (This Rifle has not been SAC approved. I can fill out a spec sheet, which should help in its being approved.)
