Coehorn mortar beds-3 different patterns in one old photo

You mortarmen may find this interesting-I had never seen one of the patterns before-maybe you can direct me to the original photo so I can tell whether they are captured pieces or whatever.

I think I have seen this picture before... my guess it is a close up of Confederate mortars being held at Broadway Landing, Appomattox River, Virginia

Dana, thanks, sure looks like the same photo, with the Coehorns in the right background. I've seen that photo before too but never looked at it close enough to notice the different styles of mortar beds.
