Uniform of the 65th NC (6th NC Cav)

Recently I found out I am a direct decendent of a private soldier who served in the 65th NC (6th NC Cav) and am curious what kind of uniform my Great Grandfather might have been issued in 1864. I have some information he was issued uniform items but can't decypher the writing as far as what the items may be.

I am considering getting together a uniform that would be representative of what he may have worn. Our family has no pictures of Great Grandfather Felix P. McGuire from Ashe county.

My wife is a great grand daughter of Felix P. McGuire of Ashe County, North Carolina. We do have a couple of pictures of Felix in his older years and some interesting family information if you are interested reply here and we will make contact outside this forum.
