Recently inherited a couple swords. One appears to me from my limited knowledge to be a 1860 Calvary saber--nice condition but am trying to find a
makers mark on it. Also received a sword that appears to be an NCO infantry sword that has etchings on both sides of the blade--one side says
"E Pluribus Unum" and the other has "US". Anyone out there could suggest a good reference book that would help me out? Also who could
repair the second sword whose grip is no longer being help in place due to the end cap being missing. Thanks for any advice.
