N-SSA Skrimishing Book - Steve Light

I just read a thread within the last week...however, I cannot recall if it was new or older. (from 2021)

Someone, had asked if Steve Lights book or paper back on N-SSA skirmishing was still in print or available.

Well, after Steve's passing...is his knowledge and wisdom still available or was it a limited edition run back in the day?

Does sutler row sell copies? ...I would assume, there may have been more information within the book than the Skirmish Line articles...I do not know.

    Just checking the waters.

When I bought my copies of Skirmish Line Articles compiled by Steve Light, Vol 1 and Vol 2, I purchased them from Docs Place. It has been more than a couple of years since, though. You would have to ask the managers if they still have copies. At the time each volume was $20. I believe that was the only place where they were sold. Bob

Thanks Bob, I read your reply wrong...Okay, complied S.L. articles that Steve collected, which I have also gathered as well. However, did Steve produce a book as an author, maybe a title name of "Keys To Good Shooting?"

    Let me know...thanks.

Does anyone know how to acquire his book? Who owns the rights to it? Can we get it digitized and payed to the owner still?

OK, you guys piqued my interest, so I typed Steve Light Shooting Books into the above search box. It lead to to a 7/28/23 post by Rob Freeman, of the Washington Blue Rifles, in which he states he has the files used for the original publication. It says he can make them available if there is interest just like he does his mini skirmish rule books. Contact him and see if this still the case.

Doing more digging and re-reading it sounds like several of you are looking for an actual book. I?m not aware that one exists. I only remember the sale of compiled reprinted Skirmish Line articles. If you don?t have them, and they would suffice, Rob Freeman may be able to help you.

Thanks geezmo for the reply...yes, I was wondering if there was an actual book. Rob Freeman should be able to help out anyone inquiring also. I am set, I also did a complete S.L. download of articles into a printed file.

I appreciate the feed back to my question.

    Take care.

There was an actual spiral bound book that was sold at Docs Place. Steve Light compiled it and had it printed and bound. Been unavailable for years now. Rob Freeman apparently has the digitized files that went into the book and has offered to provide a bound copy at the Nationals for anyone who wants one.
