    Looking for Zoli Zouave Barrel

A friend of mine (hopefully potential new recruit) has an Antonio Zoli Zouave rifle that used to belong to a skirmisher from our team back in the 1980's. It is in great shape except for the bore. It had been left it for ten years without being cleaned, and it is pitted beyond repair.

I am asking is someone has a barrel for a decient price that he could replace it with, he doesn't have the money to afford a new barrel from Dan Witacre.
Also, any Idea what Bob Hoyt charges to re-line a barrel? Anyone has a contact for Bob Hoyt?
    Thanks in advance

based on my limited knowledge A reline would be half of what a new bbl would cost

To piggy back on what Lou has already stated the biggest advantage to going with a reline is that you will know what caliber and twist it will be. I have heard Zouave barrels anywhere from .574 all the way up to .585 on repros in the past.

You get it relined you know what you got, just pay the small amount of extra and get the harder liner from Bobby Hoyt.

A Hoyt line job will probably cost about $250. Shipping on long items has gotten quite expensive so figure this in also. Tim Scanlin goes to Hoyt's often. Perhaps you could leave it with him.
