    Shiloh 515 Bullet Info

Good day, I hope everyone is well! I just acquired a mold off eBay that was listed as a Lyman .515 mold. I did not think it was a Lyman mold, but .515 was what I was looking for for my Smith, which the bore mics at .514.
Week, the mold came in today and I decided to cast. I saw the numbers on the block and when I looked carefully at the spruce plate, I see ?Shiloh Products?! What???..
So, I proceeded to cast, the bullets are a great bullet for the bore! Is anyone familiar with these molds?Name: IMG_7147.jpg

Looks like a good Smith/Maynard bullet. Shiloh Products is long defunct. They started in Farmingdale, NY. At one time they made various molds and several other items. Then they started making the Sharps rifles and didn't have time for the other stuff. They moved many years ago to Big Timber, MT. They have different owners now and go by Shiloh Sharps. Your mold is probably at least 40 years old

    Shiloh Smith Mold

I have the Lyman mold and since I sold my Smith Carbine, may sell it when I can get into my shop when I am healthy.
