FS: Garrett Arms 1982 US Model 1841 Mississippi Rifle w/sling

I bought an original with Bobby Hoyt relined barrel. Made in 1982 by Bernardelli. Top of the line repro rifle. Garrett of Norfolk VA has a reputation of superior quality amongst members of the North-South Skirmish Assn. when compared to other reproductions. Gun is in almost like new condition. Has a few small shallow dings in the stock, Metal is a deep dark blue over 90%+. No rust. Bore has minor shallow cosmetic wearName: 413.jpg

Size: 278.9 KB that does not degrade accuracy, I was going to remedy with some fire lapping. Should shoot fine. Modern Pedersoli examples sell for over $1400 if you can find one Everyone is sold out. Bargain $900 OBO 702.728.7777 Call or text. Buyer pays exact shipping.

That's a Garrett, not a Barnett and they are not approved for use in the N-SSA. It was made by Bernadelli and the stock is short among other issues.

    Short stock good forme.

I am short. Short stock is appropriate and why do you think I am selling it now that I have an original, lol.

As I recall, the bolsters marked "W" are acceptable because the other made ones were blowing apart apparently.

It is short on the front end, not the back end. The barrels are not approved because it was never determined if the bolster was brazed or welded on. The earlier welded ones were stamped with a "W". I have examined some of them and see no evidence of brazing.
