I assume there are two band 1863 Springfeild muskets that are legal to shoot but could omeone confirm.
If so I need the specs for such a rifle.

Sorry I don't have the specs for you but I just obtained an SAC card for a two band 63 so it can be done.

I shoot one, they are considered a "Razeed" musket. (I have seen Razee used too) It's basically a battlefield reissue that has had the stock and barrel cut down to 2 bands. To the best of my understanding they were CS Reissue muskets. I am by no means an expert on the history of them, so if anyone has more info, please provide it.
There are 1861 and 1863 two band rifles aka so called Artillery Rifles, I believe with two barrel lengths ( 33 and 32 inch lengths) and the CS razeed or collected and repaired rifles. Go to the 1st thread above this one that you started and get the contact info for John Holland. Tell him what you want to do and he can supply you with the spec sheets and tell you how to get the SAC card.
