    BP Revolver Accurizing

Does anyone have links for tools to accurize black powder revolvers? I can find forcing cone cutters no problem but the issue is finding throat reamers to make all 6 chambers concentric. I've found ones for cartridge revolvers but I'm not certain they will ream deep enough since they will not pass through due to having a closed end where nipple threads. Any suggestions ?

    Thanks

Just thinking out loud TC, is it necessary to go much deeper than the diameter of the ball (unless your using a conical)? The ball would generally be seated to the cylinder face or is there more to it? I've never seen one reamed out, I'm just curious.

I do normally shoot conicals which I find to be more accurate when I shoot both through revolvers to check best load. I haven?t tried round balls with this 1858 but that will be next. I have 5 out of 6 shots less than 2.5? group without any work done yet. I have noticed cylinders being tighter than others when trying to press them in with a stand. I do run them through a lubesizer.

Thank you and will do! I have been debating if I want to get into accurizing revolvers in a broader scale and have been working on one or two for now.
