Up for sale is a type II 1863 Springfield rifle musket. I am only selling this rifle musket as I have some unexpected expenses and this rifle-musket is no longer my primary shooter. This musket has a SAC card and a Numerich barrel. The bore on this rifle-musket is clean and has no issues. The stock has visible clean cartouches, and the lock is super smooth. This rifle has a stretched stock (spliced under rear barrel band) and a repair under the front band on the stretched portion of the stock. This rifle is a fantastic shooter as is - but has potential to be upgraded cosmetically if desired. The rifle musket features an original lock, original stock (minus the stretched portion), original bands, nose cap, trigger assembly, and butt plate. The ramrod and barrel are reproductions. I am looking for $550 plus shipping. This rifle is not cosmetically perfect ? but is an affordable shooter that has the potential to be cosmetically upgraded later if desired.
