    Model 1851 Cadet Springfield Smoothbore

Model 1851 Cadet, dated 1852 on both lock and barrel. brown patina overall, all there and all original, although it looks like someone shot the ramrod at some point in time, but it still goes down the ramrod channel. These are 570 diameter barrels, and I believe are somewhat rare. I'm offering this up for sale first in my Northeast region this weekend,(at the Dansville Skirmish) as I do not like to ship original muskets, if there are no takers, then it will be available for first come , first e-mail type sale here on the board. I'm asking 1750.00, and if I have to ship it, I'd guess around 50.00 shipping with insurance East of the Miss.

    Thanks for your consideration-Steve Doyle
