Looking for a Lyman mold 580213

I am ressurecting a post from 5 years ago, where I am looking for a Lyman 580213 mold. I still havent managed to obtain one, so maybe this time will bring me luck.

I am based in the UK, and I have a Parker Hale .577 2 band which shoots perfectly well using the 575213PH mould, mainly because it has progressive rifling.

My Pedersoli version has parallel rifling which ideally needs a bullet approx. 0.002" below bore size to work well. The bore on my Pedersoli is 0.578", so the 580213 should size down perfectly.

So ?is there anyone out there with a dusty 580213 mold that they don?t use any more

    Many thanks

If you were to go to Moose Molds site, he makes an old style minie mold as well as an international style mold in several sizes. Perhaps one might work for you if this appeal goes unanswered. Good luck!

    Lyman mold

You'd be a lot more successful asking for a raphine 580510 . They're basically the same.

Something is not clicking into place for me.

.002" below bore size is .576, not .580.

    Isn't it?

    580 mold

Uh I believe the gentleman stated that he wanted .580 so he could size down the ball to fit his bore.

I get it. I regularly size my raphine minie that is .581 out of the mold down to .575. Works very well. I've done it for 32+ years.

Based on radius that is true. For my Pedersol p58 Enfiled, my bore mic's out at .580, and I have a sizer which will bring a .58 as cast bullet down to .578 ...which should be ideal.
