An unmarked m1854 Type 1 Austrian Lorenz rifle musket. This one has the cheek rest, block site, and .54 caliber! The metal on the musket is bright with minor pitting. Fred Fruwirth is stamped on the barrel, but void of the Austrian double-headed eagle. This is almost certainly a musket assembled for the conflict in the United States.
The stock is in good shape with minor handling marks. There is a small drying crack on the buttplate. The toe of the stock had a chip, but it was repaired. The ramrod channel is in very good condition without any wood loss.

The ramrod is full-length and has threading on the end. The .54 bore is in very good condition, without much pitting, and has strong rifling. It would certainly clean a little better as well compared to the pictures. The hammer has a little wobble on the tumbler, but this could easily be fixed (which we could do for you). Otherwise, the lock is completely fine and in good working order.

Reproductions are approaching 1900+ on g**broker. This one is priced at approximately the same at $1850 shipped/insured.
