Has anyone found a reliable source for black powder for 2023? I had heard Goex was going to be back in production but I can't find anyone who has any. Swiss, while pricey, would be a good alternative but no one seems to have this either.

Try Graf & Sons, they have BLK Powder, and resonable prices. You will still have to pay a Hazmat Fee, tho.

Powder Valley had Swiss in stock as of a few days ago. Depending on how much you want to order it may be cheaper to buy online and pay the hazmat fee if you can't wait to get some in person at the Fort. I know locally I'd pay at least $35/lb.
Buffalo arms also has all the granulations of Swiss and Schuetzen in stock. I've dealt with them a lot since I've started skirmishing, they're a good group of guys. They give a discount for bulk orders too, I don't know if Powder Valley does that too. There is only one place within an hour or so of me that has any powder, and he even admits, he's expensive. Not meant for buying bulk, but to get that 1lb can to try a different powder. It's how I found out my Smith loves Swiss 2f!

I have a 1lb can of DuPont 3F, that an old friend of my father gave me in the 1950's, still full that has $1.25 marked on it. Eat your hart out.

Not quite as good a deal as you might think. According to measuringworth.com, $1.25 in 1950 is a purchase cost of $15.41 to $22.37 today. Welcome to the wonderful world of inflation.

So that's where they're located?!
When I went by Back Creek on my post retirement ?Walk About? to get some powder, I didn?t know N-SSA existed, much less that the national range was a stone?s throw away. The lady that was there seemed surprised I didn?t know and gave me pamphlet on N-SSA. That is how I became a member.
