WTB Merit Sight Disc with suction cup

Anyone have any idea whether the Merit Sight Disc with suction cup is still being made? I can't seem to get much response from the mfgr, though there is still an active website.

I believe I heard that Merit is out of business. There was the Lyman Hawkeye shooters optic aid, but that has been discontinued from what I can find. One thing, similar, simpler and cheaper is a suction device called eye pal. Try eyepalusa.com or search on the Lyman site (lymanproductsusa.com ?).

Here are a few other worthy choices:

Gehmann products are top notch, probably the best made today.

I checked everywhere on the web. Merit seems to be out of business, or at least not returning calls from vendors for the past 18 months or so. That led me to a search for a substitute.

Just purchased one of the Gehmann Stick-on iris for ordinary glasses. Very high build quality. Silicone suction cup is far superior to the rubber one used on the Merit product. Disc pivots on the stalk, but the stalk doesn't bend (not a ball joint stalk) But should be very adaptable based on position on your glasses lens. I got mine from Creedmoor Sports in Alabama. Nice folks, quick service. $55 plus shipping https://www.creedmoorsports.com/prod...asses/-Gehmann

As mentioned previously by another poster, also available from Champion's Choice, for $52 plus shipping. https://www.champchoice.com/store/Ma...tions&item=393

I have a Merit but from what I heard, the only ones available were what was in the pipeline when Merit died. That said, I have handled the Gehmann and when my Merit develops issues, I would have no problem switching. The quality is excellent and it functions exactly the same.
