i was wondering if any of you guys and gals could tell me if either the nssa or the nmlra are on the list of shooting clubs that will qualify you for the cmp program. with all of the shooting i have done over the years im not sure i have what it takes to sign up with the cmp.

Neither is affiliated. For a list of clubs in your state you can check here: http://clubs.odcmp.com/cgi-bin/clubSearch.cgi

H.P.: The Virginia Shooting Sports Association (www.myvssa.org) is affiliated with CMP.

according to mr. orest michaels the coo of the cmp your n-ssa card will satisfy the shooting requirement but you still have to be a member of a cmp affliated club and the n-ssa is not.
    hope this helps

    hp,
go to www.odcmp.com and then to sales and there will a link for the requirements. it so easy to satisfy them anybody who has an interest in garand and other arms they sell really have to be lazy not to do the little bit it takes to order from the cmp. the biggest hurdle is being a us citizen.
