    FS 36 Inch Macon Conversion of 1842 Springfield.

    SOLD!! Here's one you don't see every day, a 36 inch Macon conversion of a 1842 Springfield. This one has all original part except the ramrod. Stock has been stretched from the first band on. Good shootable bore with a fresh re-crown. All the lock internals are original. Many more pictures, email me at aafjack@yahoo.com and I'll send them to you. $750.00 delivered to the Fort.     It doesn't show in the pictures but it does have the bayonet lug in the proper place.
