Need a Romano Model 1 trigger spring. Where can I get one that will work?

    Hello, Mr. Foster:
I might be able to help, but need some info from you because there are slight length and screw hole location variations in my several extra's that can create issues if simply swapped. I have found that they might require minimal fitting. Please PM me a phone number so we can talk. Thanks.

Kevin is correct in that it will probably need some fitting no matter where you get one. Romano did not make his rifles on the interchangeable principle. Each one was hand fitted so replacement parts often need to be hand fitted.

John, so a original model 1 replacement spring should work but notch and hole will need fitting. Rich

An original spring may work without mods. The ones from S&S will work. You may need to slot the mounting hole to get it to fit properly. You might need to cut the notch deeper on the trigger end to get a good trigger pull. This would apply to either spring.
