1855 Lockplate

Does anyone know where to find a 1855 lockplate with a door? Repro would be fine, actually would be preferred so I dont damage an original.

I have a Repro Armisport low hump Richmond 1862 musket and from everything I have been able to figure out, this would be the perfect gun to build into a 55 Springfield. I have not decided which Version yet, but probably the type II

I?ve got a repro 1855 plate that I won?t by using. I got it from S&S a few years ago. It?s got a door but it is fixed, no guts or cavity behind it. They still have them on their website for $100 but they are out of stock. They are made for original or repro for original internal parts. I don?t know what you are thinking, but I don?t know that your eye-tallion internals will work. Anyway, if you want it you can have it for $90 mailed to you. PM me if interested.
