Cartridge for 3 band, .46 (.45) Ballard Military Rifle ?

Is there a way to change the hammer to centerfire ? Seems a bit much to change barrels and breech blocks . Thanks

The rimfire hammer can be modified into a claw like shape allowing the tip of the hammer to strike a center fire primer.
